On November 9, honor our local heroes at the inaugural Eagle Ops Welcome Home 5K benefiting the Oklahoma DAV (Disabled American Veterans). More than just a 5K, this Welcome Home event is an opportunity to express patriotism and show our veterans how much we appreciate their service to this country!
Veterans often struggle with the transition from military to civilian life. That is why suicide claims more veteran lives than the heroes we lose in combat. The Eagle OPS Foundation's goal to save our veterans and is taking the fight to the front lines within our own community. Eagle OPS mission is to support our veterans and their families by "connecting relationships and resources to bring our heroes home, one operation at a time."
Eagle OPS recognizes that battles are never won alone, and so they proudly support the work of the Oklahoma DAV (Disabled American Veterans).
In Oklahoma, more than 337,000 men and women have served in the armed forces. The Oklahoma DAV helps them gain access to the medical, financial and educational benefits they've earned, along with connecting them to meaningful employment opportunities. All services are provided free of charge.
WELCOME HOME 5K REGISTRATION
The Welcome Home 5K includes a run, walk, roll, and motorcycle ride, plus an Honor Mile to recognize the heroes we have lost in service to our country.
Entry Fees:
• $25 - VETERAN & FIRST RESPONDERS (August 1-November 8)
• $25 - GENERAL PARTICIPANTS (Early Registration: August 1 - September 2)
• $30 - GENERAL PARTICIPANTS (Regular Registration: September 3 - October 31)
• $35 - GENERAL PARTICIPANTS (Late Registration: November 1 - 8)
• $40 - ALL VETERANS, FIRST RESPONDERS & GENERAL PARTICIPANTS (Race Day Registration: November 9))
